
A helpful ally and co-conspirator not only sees and understands the various dimensions of diversity but also shares the sense of urgency for things to change. And perhaps most significantly, allies and co-conspirators desire to be engaged in the process of bringing about change and/or supporting those who are working to bring about change.

One of the hoped for outcomes of our writing and publishing Diversity Playbook: Recommendations and Guidance for Christian Organizations was for more opportunities to help individuals and organizations. But, wait Michelles, didn’t you all say that doing DEI work was tiring and exhausting. Why, yes we did. But, we also said that people doing this work need helpful allies and co-conspirators.
